Our wine is a Hungarian variety of Italian Riesling, called Olaszrizling in Hungarian. This variety does wonderfully in the Badacsony region with its volcanic soil and distinct terroir. It has a fiery, deep golden, and slightly rustic taste. The wine is a cuvee blended from Olaszrizling, Green Sylvaner, Chasla, Green Velteliner and a small quantity of the Muscatel grape. The Muscatel also gives the wine a lot of flavour and character. As we produce on a small scale, our customers tend to be local restaurants, friends and family.
Our pálinka
In addition to our wine, we also produce lovely pálinkas from apricots, plums and grapes. Pálinka is a traditional Hungarian fruit brandy. Ours are made at a local destillery.
